Tyres
We carry a large selection of tyres. If we do not have the tyre of your choice we can normally have it for the next working day.
We also carry out repairs, balancing and front wheel alignment.
For a tyre to be legal it must have 1.6mm of tread.
This is measured across the centre three quarters of the tyre and cover the full circumference.
Located within the tread of your tyre is a TWI (tread wear indicator, see image)
When the main tread wears down to this level your tyre is no longer legal. If you are touring abroad check for their limits!
Not all are the same as the UK ( a large fine would spoil your holiday)
